TASK OF PARAPHRASING
NAME: NUR ARDILAH
· 1. Many teacher education institutions have
attempted to prepare student teachers with computer literacy courses, such as
CALL course; however, this preparation has little impact on their perspectives
and attitudes to transfer their knowledge into their own classroom activities
(Kessler, 2005; Moore, Morales, & Carel, 1988).
·
2. Integrating CALL in language instruction
is not aimed to load students with the computer skill, instead, the objective
of integrating CALL in the curriculum of language teaching is, as Kerns and
Warschauer (2000) arguments of what they called traditional CALL, that ‘‘has
been associated with self-contained, programmed applications such as tutorials,
tools, simulations, instructional games, tests, and so on’’ (p. 1).
Answer:
The objective of involving CALL in language teaching is not to supply student
with computer skill, however it related to self contained and programmed
applications which automatically can help teaching and learning activities in
the classroom.
